Membership Sales Director | Invited Clubs

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ardea Country Club, an Invited Club, located in Oldsmar, FL. Invited Clubs is the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, with over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. The organization builds relationships and enriches the lives of its members and employees through first-class amenities and experiences. This role is critical for driving membership growth, achieving revenue goals, enhancing the member experience, and connecting members to the club community.

• Team: Reports to a manager, partners with RVP – Membership and Marketing team, and collaborates with the General Manager.
• Mission: Owns driving membership growth, achieving and exceeding annual membership revenue goals, and enhancing the overall member experience for Ardea Country Club.
• Tech Stack: CRM system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Membership Growth: Drive membership acquisition and upgrades to meet or exceed annual sales targets for dues added, initiation fees, and net member growth.
• Prospect Management: Maintain a robust prospect inventory and accurately track and manage prospects within the CRM system.
• Strategic Planning: Partner with the RVP – Membership and Marketing team to develop and implement quarterly and annual plans for lead generation and pricing strategies.
• Community Engagement: Actively represent Ardea Country Club at community events and organizations to raise awareness and attract potential members.
• Member Engagement: Execute a structured 30/60/90-day follow-up process for new members to encourage referrals and participation in club events and activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level role requiring a high school diploma or equivalent, with core domain knowledge in sales.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. Preferred: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in hospitality, service industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skills: Strong selling and negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), proficiency in CRM software, excellent time management, organization, prioritization, and exceptional customer service orientation.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field; sales training; familiarity with golf or the private club industry; strong mentorship and interpersonal skills.
