• Mission: Obtain maximum savings for clients by accurately entering data and reviewing medical bills.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Maximize client savings: Obtain maximum savings for clients by accurately processing medical bills according to established guidelines.
• Conduct data entry: Perform precise data entry on workers’ compensation-related medical bills for the majority of the workday.
• Review medical bills: Analyze medical bills against state laws, fee schedules, and other industry guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain performance standards: Consistently meet production and accuracy performance metrics associated with medical bill review and data entry tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma required; college preferred. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience: No prior experience in medical billing is required; strong data entry/computer skills are required.
• Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work independently, flexible and adaptable, good self-manager, productive, and an enthusiastic approach to work.
• Bonus: Certification in a related field (i.e., CPC) is a plus. Previous medical/healthcare/insurance industry experience is a plus. Must live in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.
