What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Accurately input data for workers’ compensation-related medical bills.
• Bill Review: Scrutinize medical bills to ensure adherence to state laws and fee schedules.
• Guideline Application: Apply various industry guidelines and regulations during the bill review process.
• Performance Monitoring: Consistently achieve individual production and accuracy performance metrics.
• Client Savings: Directly contribute to maximizing savings for clients through diligent auditing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma required; college preferred. This role welcomes early career individuals and recent graduates.
• Experience: Strong data entry and computer skills are essential. No prior medical billing or industry experience is required, as comprehensive paid training is provided internally.
• Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work independently, strong self-management, flexibility, adaptability, and an enthusiastic approach to work.
• Bonus: Certification in a related field (e.g., CPC) or previous medical/health care/insurance industry experience.
