Job Description:

This is a nine-week MBA Summer Internship Program designed to give MBA students a deep dive into the life of an Associate at BlackRock.

Key aspects of the internship:

Real-World Responsibilities: Interns will have meaningful tasks and responsibilities within their assigned team.
Networking Opportunities: The program includes social and networking events to help interns build connections with future colleagues.
Orientation: The internship begins with an orientation covering BlackRock’s mission, culture, principles, and purpose, featuring presentations from senior leaders and former interns.
Training: Interns will receive formal training on the fundamentals of Investment Management and how the firm operates to serve clients.
Team Integration: Interns will join a team and work alongside experienced professionals, developing subject-matter expertise through on-the-job learning and classroom sessions.
Emphasis on Growth: BlackRock provides the opportunities and tools for interns to learn, develop, and stretch their abilities.

Eligibility:

• The internship is open to MBA students graduating between August 2026 and July 2027.

Application Restrictions:

• Candidates can only apply for one program (either MBA Internship Program or Summer Internship Program).
• Within a program, candidates can apply for up to two functions.
• If an application is withdrawn, a new application for the same program cannot be submitted in the same year.

Application Process:

• After submitting the application, candidates will receive an email to complete a pre-interview assessment.
• The assessment must be completed within five days to avoid automatic withdrawal of the application.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The internship is paid, with semi-monthly salary ranges varying based on the Business Area and the location (San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; or Washington State).
• Possible location-dependent salary ranges (semi-monthly) are listed for Client & Product Functions, Corporate & Strategic Functions, Investment, Operations, and Technology.
• In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits, including health care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
• BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy, meaning total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department, and individual performance.
