What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Impact & Influence: Engage in high-impact strategic assignments across various business areas, contributing to critical Vanguard initiatives and influencing strategic decisions to meet client financial needs.
• Market Insight & Innovation: Impact the financial future of investors by seizing new opportunities, identifying critical insights for Vanguard, and applying understanding of the competitive environment.
• Complex Problem Solving: Tackle business challenges with rigor, demonstrating the ability to acclimate quickly, understand objectives, and exceed rotation goals with accountability for all projects.
• Advanced Research & Analysis: Conduct efficient and detailed research and analysis of strategic, competitive, product/service, and business model opportunities, interpreting complex internal and external data to derive key insights.
• Leadership & Project Management: Manage high-impact projects from inception through implementation, ensuring all project requirements are met while refining presentation and leadership skills through ongoing development and feedback.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate and MBA degree are required.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-undergraduate work experience demonstrating increased responsibilities and impact, including exposure to strategy, consulting, or business analytics.
• Skills: Excellent relationship management and leadership skills, clear and effective communication, the ability to make strategic decisions, and collaboratively influence and effectively interact at all levels in a matrixed environment.
• Bonus: Deep curiosity and interest in investment management, demonstrated agility in learning, and comfort with ambiguity with a willingness to explore challenges and pivot as needed.
