MarketSite Event Concierge Intern | Nasdaq
The Tone:
This is an internship at Nasdaq, located in New York City, requiring 5 days onsite a week with specific morning and afternoon hours. Nasdaq is a financial technology company shaping global economies and markets through its technology, innovation, and expertise. This role is crucial for delivering a high level of hospitality and support for high-profile client and company events at the iconic MarketSite, directly contributing to Nasdaq’s reputation for excellence and client experience.

• Team: MarketSite Events Team
• Mission: Ensure a premium and welcoming experience for all guests attending high-profile events at Nasdaq MarketSite.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Hospitality: Provide superior customer service and hospitality to all clients and guests.
• Greeting: Warmly welcome all guests upon their arrival at the event space.
• Event Support: Support the planning and execution of high-profile client and company events.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with Event Producers and various internal teams, including Catering, AV, Broadcast, Facilities, Security, and Creative Teams, to ensure an excellent client experience.
• Preparation: Conduct daily checks of all meeting rooms and event spaces at the start of each day before guests enter.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in college, pursuing a major in hospitality (communications or marketing also considered); Entry-Level.
• Experience: No specific years required.
• Skills: Client-facing with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), sound decision-making ability, executive presence, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Prior event, client experience, marketing, or hospitality experience is a plus. Experience with Salesforce or Monday.com is also helpful.
