The Tone:
Newrez is a 5,327-person organization focused on bringing big thinkers and caring doers together to make home happen. They serve residential mortgage borrowers and business partners by exceeding expectations through superior service, simple processes, and clear communication. This is a full-time, 12-month rotational leadership-development program designed specifically for recent college graduates. The TRAIL program aims to strengthen the future leadership of the company by building a foundation in process improvement, presentation, and leadership skills, while providing hands-on experience and mentorship.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Define and manage strategy projects or new product launches, establishing clear objectives, defining deliverables, and ensuring projects remain within agreed scope to prevent scope creep.
• Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project management plans, which include creating schedules, budgets, resource allocation plans, and communication strategies for various initiatives.
• Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate extended teams, assigning tasks, motivating team members, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with overarching project goals.
• Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth business analyses, develop a detailed understanding of the customer base, competitive landscape, and marketplace, and provide recommendations to leadership for business and process improvements.
• Marketing Strategy & Execution: Assist with new product launches and the delivery of strategies to grow existing product relationships, develop an understanding of marketing tactics, and recommend improvements to the overall marketing approach.
• Process Improvement Champion: Help champion the Process Improvement discipline within the organization, actively implementing the steps and tools necessary to successfully complete various projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, with a preference for degrees in Marketing, Data Analytics, or Finance. This program is specifically designed for recent college graduates.
• Experience: Entry-level career position where duties are performed under the direction of experienced personnel to gain required knowledge and experience, involving hands-on exposure to commercial strategy, business development, and product/project management.
• Skills: Highly developed organizational and project/time-management skills, proficiency in quantitative analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas to varied audiences, and strong skills in Excel and/or Tableau.
• Bonus: Experience with Canva, HTML, PowerPoint, and Visio; strong technical skills and willingness to learn new programs such as SQL and Salesforce; an entrepreneurial business mindset; and understanding of multiple brand structures.
