Marketing Leadership Trainee | Engagify
The Tone:
This is a full-time, entry-level, on-site position in Charlotte, NC. Engagify is dedicated to developing leaders from within, partnering with over 40 brands, organizations, and nonprofit partners to deliver impactful face-to-face marketing campaigns. The Marketing Leadership Trainee program is designed for individuals ready to invest in themselves, cultivate professional skills, and work toward leading teams and campaigns. This role is essential for driving community awareness and inspiring lasting support for vital nonprofit causes, offering a clear path to building a long-term career within a collaborative culture that values individual contributions and rewards initiative.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Representation: Represent nonprofit campaigns at community events and retail locations to increase visibility and support.
• Public Engagement: Build genuine connections with community members to foster lasting relationships and secure support for client missions.
• Mission Advocacy: Clearly communicate the mission and impact of partner organizations to inspire lasting community engagement and donations.
• Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with teammates to strategize and achieve established campaign goals.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing coaching and mentorship to develop leadership skills and confidence for future campaign management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level career stage with a strong aptitude for professional development and building a long-term career.
• Experience: No prior marketing or sales experience is required, as comprehensive paid training and one-on-one mentorship are provided from day one.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills for building genuine connections and effectively communicating with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, working proactively to identify and solve challenges without direct supervision.
• Openness to receiving and applying feedback for continuous personal and professional improvement.
• A high degree of self-motivation, driven by personal and professional growth goals, and a belief that success comes from consistent effort.
• Bonus: Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, food service, fitness, athletics, event staffing, campus leadership, volunteer organizations, or as a recent college graduate is a plus.
