Marketing Fall Internship | Trajektory
The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Trajektory, located in Chicago, IL. Trajektory is a leading platform specializing in sponsorship valuation and analytics, which is utilized by major sports teams, leagues, and brands worldwide. The company empowers its clients to effectively measure and maximize the impact of their diverse partnerships by providing critical real-time data, actionable insights, and comprehensive reporting. In this essential role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into compelling narratives that clearly demonstrate the value of sponsorships, directly supporting strategic client decisions and overall brand positioning.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Asset Creation: Support the development of essential marketing materials, including detailed case studies, concise one-pagers, and impactful sales decks.
• Data Storytelling: Translate complex sponsorship data into clear, compelling insights and engaging narratives that highlight key findings and value propositions.
• Social Media Management: Assist with the strategic planning and execution of social media content to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms.
• Visual Presentation Design: Help build professional presentations and visually appealing reports using design tools such as Canva.
• Industry Trend Research: Conduct thorough research on current industry trends, specific sports teams, and evolving brand partnerships to inform marketing strategies and content development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree at the Rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student level in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or a closely related academic field.
• Experience: Must be formally eligible to receive academic credit for participation in this internship program as a requirement for degree completion.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong written communication skills for creating clear and persuasive content; strong visual communication skills for developing impactful presentations and materials; and a genuine interest in sports, marketing, and the art of data storytelling.
• Bonus: Familiarity with design and presentation tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or other similar platforms is considered a valuable asset.
