Marketing Intern | Turner
The Tone:
This is a Regular Intern position at Turner, located in Portland, ME. Turner is a leading construction management company, known for delivering complex and innovative projects across various sectors. This role supports the business unit’s marketing efforts, playing a key part in developing proposals and materials that help secure new projects and uphold the company’s professional brand. The intern will gain foundational experience in business development and marketing within the construction industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Material Production: Support the production of business development proposals, presentations, and general marketing materials.
• Data Management: Conduct research and update various marketing databases, including sales leads, staff resumes, client contacts, and project information across system platforms.
• Content & Digital Marketing: Produce graphics and develop content for marketing materials, manage digital assets, and assist with social media marketing efforts.
• Brand Stewardship: Ensure that brand standards are consistently maintained across all marketing materials produced.
• Reporting & Professionalism: Provide periodic status or progress reports to the supervisor and maintain professionalism with all company employees, clients, and vendors.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. This is an early career internship.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications. Requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel as requested.
• Skills: Demonstrated attention to detail, highly organized with good time management skills, and clear verbal and written communication with the ability to proofread. Must be proactive, curious, eager to learn, able to quickly process information, take direction, follow tasks through to completion, and work effectively in a deadline-driven team environment.
