Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities in This Role

Your day will be full of energy, connection, and opportunity as a Market Development Specialist. You will:

• Hit the Road: Explore your assigned territory on foot or by car, introducing local businesses to the comprehensive range of products and services W.B. Mason has to offer.
• Engage & Discover: Meet with potential clients with flyers in hand and a consultative mindset. Uncover their specific needs and demonstrate how our full range of workplace products and services can streamline their operations and make their lives easier.
• Demonstrate Value: Demo products, share innovative web tools, offer custom pricing solutions, and expertly guide new customers through the setup process via MasonvilleGO.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with our inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure every new account is smoothly transitioned, well-supported, and receives exceptional care.
• Stay Connected: Participate in regular branch sales meetings, ensuring you remain connected, supported, and equipped with the tools and team needed to grow your market and advance your outside sales career.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed as a Market Development Specialist, we are looking for individuals with:

• Experience: Background in customer service, retail sales, or similar roles.
• Communication: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results.
• Language: Ability to converse, read, and write fluently in English.
• Physical Capability: Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
