Manufacturing Development Program – Jacksonville | Niagara Bottling

The Tone:
This is a 15-month rotational program at Niagara Bottling, located in Jacksonville, Florida. Niagara Bottling is a leading beverage manufacturer committed to providing customers with high-quality, affordable bottled water. This program is designed to cultivate future leaders within manufacturing, offering extensive hands-on experience and professional development to prepare participants for significant leadership roles upon completion. Relocation after completing the program is crucial, broadening the range of available job opportunities.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To equip participants with leadership and problem-solving skills through immersive experience across manufacturing functions, preparing them for future leadership roles.
• Tech Stack: Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt training

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Spend 9 months rotating through core plant departments including Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse, with potential for Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, or Quality Assurance rotations.
• Lead: Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months, gaining a full understanding of the role’s scope and engaging leadership and problem-solving skills for technical and people-related issues.
• Project: Work on impactful cost or time-saving projects across various departments within the plant and for Niagara.
• Develop: Participate in formalized professional skills training focused on Niagara culture, self-awareness, and leadership development, alongside ongoing support from company leadership and a dedicated advisor.
• Present: Have multiple opportunities to present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership, and attend department and manager meetings to action plan based on feedback.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in any field, with a preference for Engineering or Business. This is an entry-level program.
• Experience: 0 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment; 0 years experience managing people or projects.
• Skills: Demonstrated passion and grit to reach goals, a strong desire to expand knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bonus: 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment, 2 years experience managing people or projects, and 1 year of internship experience are preferred.
