What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Oversight: Learn to oversee daily transportation operations, including coordinating freight movement.
• Schedule Management: Monitor schedules and support drivers and operations staff to meet service and safety standards.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics and assist in resolving operational problems.
• Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and customers to maintain efficient workflows.
• Leadership & Improvement: Participate in leadership development activities and support process improvements to enhance productivity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma required. Interest in leadership and people management.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to learn operational processes, analyze data, and use basic business software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, transportation or logistics systems).
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines; problem-solving and decision-making abilities to respond to operational issues and implement practical solutions.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field; previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or customer service; willingness to work on-site in Jackson, MS, with flexibility for varied schedules.
