• Mission: To steer and optimize existing processes within Accounts Payable and Goods Accounting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Optimization: Steer and optimize existing processes within Accounts Payable and Goods Accounting, driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
• Financial Closings & Reporting: Provide comprehensive support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including the generation of statistics and reports from SAP, and the preparation and in-depth analysis of data in Excel.
• Team & Project Leadership: Lead a team of six employees, focusing on their ongoing development and fostering their professional growth. Additionally, contribute to key projects with the potential to assume project responsibility, particularly for new processes and system transformations.
• Quality & Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and continuously refine quality standards and relevant key performance indicators (KPIs). Oversee the review, further development, and optimization of control activities within the internal control system (IKS).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively engage and collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as national and international teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification, with a strong foundation in finance or accounting principles.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the finance sector is required, complemented by at least 2 years of experience in leading and developing employees. Candidates must possess profound knowledge in Accounts Payable and Goods Accounting, alongside proven experience in optimizing financial processes.
• Skills:
1. IT Proficiency: Proficient in standard MS-Office applications and SAP S/4HANA, demonstrating a strong capability to work with financial systems and tools.
2. Analytical Acumen: Exhibits strong analytical and structured thinking abilities, combined with an autonomous and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
3. Interpersonal & Communication: Possesses high communication strength, robust organizational and prioritization skills, along with strong teamwork capabilities and empathy.
4. Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English is mandatory.
