• Mission: Own Box’s corporate financial model, playing a key role in annual planning, quarterly board reporting, and the monthly financial performance review process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Corporate Financial Model Management: Own the end-to-end corporate financial model, driving annual planning, quarterly board reporting, and the monthly financial performance review processes. This includes building and maintaining a robust, driver-based three-statement model that tightly links operational drivers to balance sheet and cash flow outputs.
• Advanced Financial Forecasting & Analysis: Lead KPI reporting and variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities against plan. You will also analyze and model FX impacts on bottom-line financial metrics, providing insights on currency exposure and potential hedging strategies. Drive month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
• Liquidity & Multi-Entity Financial Oversight: Own the corporate cash flow model, providing crucial insights into liquidity, working capital, and capital allocation. Partner with the tax team on subsidiary-level forecasting to ensure accurate modeling of multi-entity financials across global operations.
• AI-Driven Finance Transformation: Leverage Box AI and other emerging AI tools to transform how the finance function operates. This involves pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve in modern finance for planning, forecasting, and reporting, and continuously improving planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Executive & Investor Communication: Prepare essential materials for financial performance reviews, earnings calls, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and presentations for the board and executive leadership. Partner with Investor Relations to support earnings materials preparation and broader investor communications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a STEM field is required. This role requires progressive experience, typically at a Manager level, in corporate finance or related fields.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or related areas. This includes a proven track record of owning complex forecasting processes, delivering accurate results, and building robust, driver-based three-statement models with tightly linked operational drivers. Experience analyzing FX impacts in multi-currency environments is also necessary.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong financial modeling capabilities. Demonstrates strong leadership presence with excellent communication skills, enabling the distillation of complex financial analysis into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Bonus: Prior experience at a technology or SaaS company is strongly preferred. Experience with BI/Analytics tools such as Tableau or BigQuery, and familiarity with SQL is a plus. Experience utilizing ERP and planning systems like NetSuite, Anaplan, or Planful is also beneficial.
