Management Trainee | Cintas

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person entry-level program at Cintas, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, dedicated to helping over one million businesses operate confidently every day. Cintas achieves this by providing essential products and services, including uniforms, mats, mops, first aid, and fire protection, ensuring facilities and employees are clean, safe, and professional. What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Immersion: Rotate through various departments to gain an in-depth understanding of the business from a leadership perspective.
• Sales Engagement: Participate in outside sales activities to promote company products and services while actively cultivating customer relationships.
• Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and contribute to making informed business decisions that impact operations.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with key leaders on diverse projects focused on sales management and enhancing operational efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess, or be on track to obtain, a Bachelor’s degree within six months. This is an entry-level program designed for individuals seeking to develop leadership skills and gain practical experience across various business operations.
• Experience: While specific prior experience is not strictly required, a background including co-op or internship experience in customer service, sales, production, or administrative functions is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a capacity for leadership, ideally through roles held on campus or in related extracurricular activities.
• Skills: Ability to maintain an active driver’s license is essential. Candidates must be able to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification and be at least 21 years of age to operate a regulated vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
• Bonus: A business or otherwise related academic major is preferred. Willingness to relocate regionally during, or at the end of, the program is a plus.
