This is a full-time, accelerated entry-level program at Sherwin-Williams, located in the Mid Kansas District. This program is designed to prepare you for a Store Management role, providing leadership and insight into business strategy and growth within a million-dollar business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Completion: Successfully complete a structured training program designed to prepare you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months.
• Sales Growth: Grow the company’s market share by selling to large commercial users and making outside sales calls with the Store Manager.
• Customer Relations: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and build positive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
• Business Operations: Support business strategies to increase sales, optimize profitability, and manage store administration tasks.
• Product Expertise: Build and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products to provide effective customer recommendations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position. Requires a bachelor’s degree by the start of the development program.
• Experience: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship, and possess a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Skills: Aptitude for learning products and sales strategies; foundational administrative and organizational abilities; capacity for developing customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Bonus: Preferred to have at least one year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service position, or a leadership role. Prior experience selling paint products or using timekeeping/CRM systems is also preferred. Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities. Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish.
