Management & Sales Training Program | Sherwin-Williams

This is an accelerated, entry-level, full-time role at Sherwin-Williams, located in various store locations across the country. The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Completion: Successfully complete an accelerated 18-24 month training program designed to prepare for a Store Management role.
• Market Share Growth: Drive business growth by making outside sales calls and selling high-quality products to large commercial users such as painting contractors and manufacturers.
• Business Oversight: Collaborate with store management to oversee a multi-million dollar business, providing leadership and insight into the store’s development and strategy.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, providing expert product recommendations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Operational Excellence: Manage store administration, maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree by the program’s start, prepared for a career in management and professional sales.
• Experience: Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability in customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations. Capability to build professional networks and develop leadership skills.
• Bonus: At least one year of experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a leadership role; previous experience in a team-oriented setting or selling paint products; familiarity with timekeeping and/or CRM systems; willingness to relocate for future job opportunities; and/or multilingual ability, particularly in Spanish.
