This role is crucial for future leaders to gain foundational knowledge of service center operations and the company’s mission, contributing directly to daily success while being considered for a full-time management trainee position upon graduation.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Role Comprehension: Learn and grasp the unique functions and responsibilities of various positions within a Service Center.
• Mission Alignment: Comprehend how each individual role contributes directly to the overarching mission of Dayton Freight.
• Operational Contribution: Actively participate and contribute to the day-to-day success and efficiency of the Service Center through learned insights.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited college, seeking to gain foundational knowledge in the transportation industry.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required, only a willingness to learn operational roles and contribute to a service center environment.
• Skills: Basic mathematical aptitude for operational tasks; Fluency in English for effective communication and understanding.
• Bonus: Flexibility and willingness to work across all three shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) during the program.
