Maintenance Technician/Make Ready Technician -Stoney Trace | RADCO

• Location: In-person, Stoney Trace
• Team: Works as part of a property maintenance team, directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
• Mission: To ensure the property is always well-kept, maintained, and safe, addressing service requests and concerns promptly and effectively.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Property Maintenance: Ensure the property is always well kept and maintained, immediately addressing any safety concerns.
• Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed.
• Routine Repairs: Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, including HVAC troubleshooting and pool maintenance, if applicable.
• Service Request Fulfillment: Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless extraordinary parts or labor are required.
• Emergency Service Response: Perform on-call emergency service requests when scheduled, requiring an immediate response and arrival at the property within an hour after the call.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family. HVAC/EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• Experience: Proven knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, roofing repairs, and other general maintenance skills. Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as scheduled for on-call service requests.
• Skills: Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills; detail-oriented and takes pride in quality of work; self-motivated to complete tasks; able to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, prospects, and visitors; knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Bonus: CPO certification is preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required based on property size and potential need for a golf cart.
