The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, at a Sealed Air facility
• Pay: $19.00–$20.50 hourly
• Mission: Performs routine maintenance activities on equipment and facility to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Execute: Substitute materials or parts, rearrange components, and conduct machinery and parts testing as needed for maintenance.
• Operate: Manage facility utilities, including their operation, monitoring, and adjustment.
• Ensure: Comply with all Company, site, customer, and regulatory requirements and standards in all maintenance activities.
• Investigate: Under supervisor direction, assist in investigating reliability issues and performing root cause analysis for significant equipment failures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrollment in an Associate in Applied Science program in Mechatronics Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology. This is an Entry-Level co-op/intern role.
• Experience: Maintenance of a minimum 2.8 GPA and continuous enrollment each semester until graduation.
• Skills: Adherence to site and department safety rules; foundational knowledge in mechatronics, electronics, or mechanical engineering principles.
