Cost Management Intern – Spring 2027 | AtkinsRéalis

• Mission: This role is dedicated to assisting cost managers in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cost-related assessments, pricing, and reporting for projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investigations: Perform material pricing investigations to gather necessary cost data.
• Review: Review cost management outputs to identify and correct math or logic errors.
• Support: Assist cost managers with cost-related assessments of project scope and schedule.
• Analytics: Perform cost data analytics review and modeling, as required for various projects.
• Reporting: Support in the preparation of comprehensive cost reports for internal and external stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have completed 60 hours towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, finance, or a related field from an ABET accredited program by the start of the Spring 2027 internship.
• Experience: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in a related technical field.
• Skills: Basic computer skills are required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases, along with math skills to perform simple calculations, and a willingness to learn.
