Description: Maintenance Intern

Join Innophos’ dynamic team as a Maintenance Intern for an 8-12 week assignment. This hands-on role provides experience in a manufacturing environment under the mentorship of the Maintenance Department. The internship offers opportunities to develop technical skills, contribute to real-world projects, and support continuous operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical resource for the Maintenance Department, providing support and expertise.
• Collaborate with team members to conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and breakdowns.
• Play a key role in implementing an updated preventive maintenance program across the facility.
• Contribute to mechanical and facilities maintenance projects.
• Assist with small capital improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Education & Experience:

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for a career in manufacturing and industrial environments.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate ($22.50 – $24/hour), with overtime eligibility. (The actual rate will vary based on factors like education, skills, licenses/certifications, and prior experience.)
