• Mission: This person will comprehensively manage and maintain all building systems, ensuring facility life safety and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Development: Build and coordinate a robust building maintenance program, overseeing all repair coordination activities.
• Daily Operations: Execute and manage general daily repair tasks, addressing common issues such as doors, lights, and paint patching.
• System Oversight: Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, security, fire, electrical, and elevators.
• Regulatory Compliance: Manage generator compliance requirements and schedule all routine maintenance activities to ensure continuous operational readiness.
• Life Safety Management: Coordinate all required monthly, quarterly, and annual service visits to uphold NFPA and facility life safety standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This Director/Supervisor-level role requires a comprehensive understanding of facility operations, with a strong emphasis on building systems maintenance and life safety.
• Experience: Candidates must possess practical skills in general plumbing and electrical work, basic carpentry, and demonstrate general proficiency in utilizing a variety of tools.
• Skills: Demonstrated capability in general plumbing, electrical repairs, basic carpentry, and effective tool utilization. Deep knowledge of NFPA and Life Safety codes is essential.
• Bonus: Prior experience in healthcare building operations is highly preferred.
