Logistics Financial Analyst | Eastman

This is a full-time role at Eastman, located in Kingsport, TN. The Logistics Financial Analyst is crucial for leading the forecasting, analysis, and reporting of distribution-related expenses across the supply chain, directly supporting budgeting, cash-flow planning, and strategic decision-making within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting: Lead the forecasting of distribution expenses, including transportation, warehousing, tariffs, railcar leasing, maintenance, and other related costs.
• Planning: Manage forecast inputs, conduct scenario planning, and submit forecasts across multiple planning cycles using BPC.
• Analysis: Analyze supply chain cost trends and variances utilizing SAP transactions, LeCost, Inventory Cube, and Sales & Earnings Cube.
• Optimization: Identify key spend drivers and propose prioritized, actionable cost-optimization opportunities.
• Reporting: Prepare executive-level commentary that details key variance drivers for supply chain leadership and the broader organization.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience and/or curriculum in financial forecasting, budgeting, or variance analysis. A strong understanding of supply chain or logistics cost structures is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate insights clearly; strong business partnering and cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience supporting distribution, logistics, or manufacturing financial planning; familiarity with cost optimization analysis and executive reporting; demonstrated ability to manage multiple planning cycles and meet tight deadlines.
