The Tone:
This is a two-year local rotational program at Avangrid, located in Orange, CT, Rochester, NY, Binghamton, NY, Portland, OR, Boston, MA, and other participating locations. Avangrid is an energy company focused on providing safe and reliable energy services. This program is designed to equip recent graduates with broad exposure and practical experience across the organization, fostering their development into future leaders within the company.

• Mission: To prepare recent graduates for long-term careers within Avangrid through exposure, experience, and engagement across various business, commercial, and corporate functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in rotational assignments across diverse business, commercial, customer, regulatory, financial, and corporate functions over approximately two years.
• Support: Assist with business analysis, reporting, planning, and operational initiatives to enhance energy services.
• Contribute: Work on projects related to finance, accounting, supply chain, customer operations, sustainability, regulatory, or corporate services teams.
• Analyze: Examine information to support operational and organizational performance and inform business decisions.
• Develop: Engage in leadership development, mentoring, professional growth opportunities, and networking activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree for recent graduates in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Communications, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements, and ability to work from assigned Avangrid locations.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze information and support business decisions, effective communication, and interpersonal skills for collaborative environments.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.2 or higher, prior internship or co-op experience, and an interest in energy, infrastructure, sustainability, utility operations, or corporate services.
