The Tone:
This is a 2-Year Local Rotational Program at Avangrid, with positions available across Orange, CT, Rochester, NY, Binghamton, NY, Portland, OR, Boston, MA, Augusta, ME, and Portland, ME. Avangrid provides safe and reliable energy services, and this program is designed to offer recent graduates extensive exposure and experience across its diverse organizational functions. This role is crucial for developing future leaders and preparing participants for long-term careers within the company by building technical, business, and leadership capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in structured rotational assignments across business, commercial, and corporate services functions to gain diverse organizational exposure.
• Support: Contribute to business analysis, reporting, planning, and operational initiatives that enhance safe and reliable energy services.
• Collaborate: Work with cross-functional stakeholders on projects related to finance, accounting, supply chain, customer operations, sustainability, regulatory, or corporate services teams.
• Analyze: Examine information used to support operational and organizational performance, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
• Improve: Support process improvement and operational effectiveness efforts, contributing to compliance, governance, and risk management activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Communications, Public Policy, Environmental Studies, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship, and the ability to work from assigned Avangrid locations participating in the rotational program.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze information and support business decisions, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.2 or higher, prior internship or co-op experience, and an interest in energy, infrastructure, sustainability, utility operations, or corporate services.
