• Mission: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of scenic chairlifts, providing excellent customer service to all guests.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Safety: Safely load and unload guests from SkyLift Chairs, verifying secure seating and proper use of safety bars for their journey.
• Operational Control: Accurately start, stop, and adjust the speed of the chairlifts, managing guest flow and ensuring smooth operations.
• Safety Promotion: Actively promote and enforce all established safety procedures and precautions, making decisions to prioritize guests’ well-being.
• Area Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of terminal areas, and assist with other maintenance tasks as required to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Guest Support: Provide helpful resort information, address guest inquiries, and resolve issues promptly, enhancing their overall experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to adhere to a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must also have reliable transportation.
• Skills: Competence in all Evac procedures as acquired through required trainings. Strict adherence to all policies and procedures outlined in the GSLP Handbook and all safety protocols.
• Bonus: Enjoyment of working outdoors in various weather conditions and a passion for customer service and interacting positively with guests. Previous experience in chairlift operations is also a plus.
