The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Trueline’s client, located in Sacramento, CA. The client is a well-established and growing plaintiff-side law firm. This role is crucial for an experienced legal secretary to play an integral part in helping attorneys prepare complex personal injury cases for trial. The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Stable Monday through Friday schedule (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Location: In-person, Sacramento, CA
• Pay: $90000 yearly
• Mission: Serve as the primary administrative support for attorneys handling plaintiff-side personal injury litigation, ensuring cases move efficiently while delivering outstanding client service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Serve as the primary administrative support for attorneys handling plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
• Calendar: Manage a high-volume litigation calendar, coordinating court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial schedules.
• Documents: Draft and prepare pleadings, notices, subpoenas, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents for filing in California state and federal courts.
• Coordination: Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, medical providers, and process servers regarding various case activities.
• Litigation Support: Maintain both electronic and physical case files and support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced legal secretary with recent law firm experience within the past two years, supporting plaintiff or defense litigation matters.
• Experience: Demonstrated strong case management software experience and comfortable handling frequent client communication.
• Skills: Excellent calendaring and deadline management skills, strong understanding of California court procedures and filing deadlines, and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Bonus: Personal injury litigation experience, experience supporting attorneys through trial, coordinating expert witnesses, and discovery management experience.
