This entry-level position offers essential administrative and paralegal support to the SVP, General Counsel and other members of the legal department, contributing to the efficient operation of legal matters for an organization of over 1000 employees. What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Manage daily administrative tasks for the legal department, including meeting planning, calendaring, and processing signature pages with precision.
• Corporate Recordkeeping: Prepare filings related to entity management, maintain corporate files and related recordkeeping, including the legal and corporate entity calendar.
• Meeting Preparation: Assist with Board meeting preparation and stockholder meeting notices, including the drafting of slides and shell-documents.
• Document Drafting & Communication: Draft simple legal forms and correspondence, and manage communications with senior executives under the guidance of legal counsel.
• Project & Technology Support: Support legal department initiatives, internal processes, cross-functional relationships, and evaluate or maintain technology solutions for commercial contracting and contract management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in a Corporate Environment, potentially considering law school.
• Experience: 0-3 years experience in a Corporate Environment.
• Skills: High attention to detail and follow-through, highly organized, comfortable with technology and learning new tools, exemplary time management, and effective communication skills.
