Senior Manager L&D | Mashreq

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mashreq, located in Egypt. Mashreq is a global financial institution that delivers banking services and solutions. This role is crucial for developing and implementing strategic learning initiatives that empower employees and contribute to the bank’s overall success. You will help create an innovative and effective Learning & Development department that supports people’s journeys at Mashreq.

• Team: Learning & Development (L&D) team within the People & Intellectual Capital Group (IC&OD)
• Mission: To contribute towards an innovative and effective Learning & Development department that complements people’s journey at Mashreq.
• Tech Stack: Learning module on HCM, third-party learning platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Partner: Partner and manage training programs and learning curriculums linked to development needs and capability building across the bank.
• Lead: Lead generic and customized learning programs, monitoring their implementation and measuring their impact and ROI.
• Support: Manage vendors and provide administrative and logistical support for the smooth conduct of learning programs.
• Optimize: Ensure optimal utilization of training infrastructure and resources through regular maintenance and efficient coordination.
• Administer: Configure, administer, and maintain the Learning module on HCM and other subscribed learning platforms for efficient service delivery.

The Must-Haves
• Background: College graduate with a minimum bachelor’s degree in any field. Career level: Senior Manager with a core domain in Learning & Development or Human Resources.
• Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in L&D or HR within a large global organization, preferably in financial services. Expertise in training needs analysis, solution deployment, and learning impact/evaluation and ROI. Working knowledge in administering the Learning module on HCM.
• Skills: Excellent data analysis and data visualization skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Bonus: CIPD or an equivalent certification is desirable.
