The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at Learfield, offering an unparalleled opportunity to delve into the intricate world of revenue generation within college athletics. Learfield partners with universities to enhance their athletic programs’ financial strength by optimizing critical areas such as ticket sales, premium seating, and development initiatives. This role is designed to provide interns with firsthand insights into these operations, allowing them to contribute to efforts that enhance fan engagement and drive strategic outreach, laying an invaluable foundation for a career in sports business or athletic administration.

• Mission: Actively contribute to revenue generation efforts, fan engagement, and strategic operational insights within college athletics, setting an invaluable foundation for a sports business career.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Documentation: Assist in the creation of a comprehensive best-practices deck by meticulously compiling examples, thoroughly documenting internal processes, and organizing valuable insights gathered from various internal teams.
• Strategic Content Development: Contribute to the development of key yearly resources such as Sport MVP Playbooks and Revenue Summit decks, compiling sport-specific revenue strategies and refining content for maximum clarity and impact.
• Handbook Review and Updates: Undertake a detailed review and update of essential Director and Seller Handbooks, refining existing content for accuracy, correcting any outdated references, and generally improving clarity and user-friendliness.
• CRM Management Support: Provide crucial support for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) efforts, including accurately updating records, organizing data efficiently within the system, and ensuring high data accuracy across leadership and seller dashboards.
• Training and Development Exposure: Actively participate in MVP Training and Development sessions to gain valuable exposure to Amplify’s comprehensive sales process, core revenue strategies, and industry best practices.

The Must-Haves
• Academic Standing: Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program, with an expected graduation date no later than August 2027.
• Availability & Career Focus: Possess the ability to start work on Monday, June 1st, 2026, and secure housing for the entire nine-week duration of the program (until July 31st, 2026). Must also demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career focused on revenue generation, ticket sales, premium seating, or development within the sports industry.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
• Bonus: Ideally majoring in Sport Management/Administration, Business Management, Hospitality/Tourism Management, or a closely related academic field.
