The Tone:
This is a full-time paid training program with CMG Financial, located on-site in Charleston, SC. CMG Home Loans is a mortgage industry company offering this opportunity for new graduates to enter the field. This role is crucial for supporting the Consumer Direct Team while providing comprehensive training to help individuals become licensed Loan Officers, contributing to the growth and success of the company’s customer acquisition efforts.

• Mission: To support the Consumer Direct Loan Officers and Sales Managers through sales solicitation and marketing initiatives while preparing for a licensed Loan Officer role.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Outreach: Make outbound calls to existing CMG customers to understand their current needs and transfer them to a licensed Loan Officer for follow-up.
• Lead Generation: Initiate outbound calls to various marketing leads with the goal of acquiring new customers and transferring them to a team of licensed Loan Officers.
• Marketing Support: Contribute to a variety of marketing projects and initiatives designed to promote CMG’s products and services.
• Professional Development: Participate in sales training, gain exposure to mortgage operations, and receive underwriter training.
• Licensing Preparation: Prepare for and take the SAFE Exam with CMG covering the licensing costs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level; New Graduate currently residing in the Charleston, SC area; interest in entering the Mortgage Industry.
• Experience: Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; high level of integrity and confidentiality; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and meet constant deadlines.
