This is an independent partnership opportunity within Thesis Capital Partners’ accelerator program, enabling accomplished professionals across the United States to acquire and lead businesses with enterprise values between $20M-$80M. Thesis Capital Partners, established in 2017, provides a unique model that supports individuals through the entire M&A process, from sourcing to post-acquisition scaling, without requiring them to leave their current full-time employment during the search phase. This program is designed for individuals seeking to transition into business ownership and operation, significantly de-risking the acquisition process compared to traditional search methods.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Acquisition Leadership: Lead the comprehensive process of sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and successfully closing an acquisition for a business with an enterprise value ranging from $20M-$80M.
• Strategic Deal Sourcing: Effectively utilize Thesis Capital Partners’ proprietary sourcing systems and dedicated full-time staff to gain access to a broad range of best-in-class deal flow, which is typically inaccessible through solo or traditional search models.
• Expert Transaction Execution: Collaborate closely with Thesis Capital Partners’ team of seasoned M&A professionals, who have completed over $10B in transactions, to expertly navigate all aspects from detailed underwriting and negotiation to thorough diligence, capital raising, legal review, and establishing board composition.
• Post-Acquisition Operations & Growth: Assume full responsibility as the leading officer of the acquired business, leveraging Thesis Capital Partners’ advisory support, consultants, and resources to scale operations and achieve sustained growth.
• Time and Risk Optimization: Minimize the statistical failure rate of acquisitions and significantly reduce the time to scale your search from months to just weeks by directly plugging into an established search infrastructure and avoiding unfinanceable transactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Seasoned professional with verifiable experience operating a business in a leadership role, demonstrating clear P&L responsibility within a large company, or possessing significant experience leading teams or engagements in a consulting capacity.
• Experience: A strong entrepreneurial drive combined with an even stronger desire to assume the role of leading officer for acquisitions within the $20M-$80M enterprise value bracket.
• Skills: High-level operational leadership, P&L management, strategic M&A process navigation (supported by firm resources), and effective team leadership.
• Bonus: Prior consulting and operations experience are highly valued, and finance experience is considered a plus but not strictly required. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a clear understanding of the differences and risk profiles of various business acquisition approaches.
