Internship Overview

  • Program Duration: 10-12 weeks, beginning May 2025
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
  • Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay
  • Location: Onsite at the corporate office in McKinney, TX (7440 S. Hwy 121 McKinney, TX 75070)

What You’ll Do

The L&D Corporate Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the execution and continuous improvement of enterprise learning programs. You will collaborate closely with the Learning & Development team and internal stakeholders, contributing to multiple initiatives simultaneously. Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting project and timeline management for various L&D programs and initiatives.
  • Assisting with the creation and formatting of learning materials, presentations, toolkits, and visual assets.
  • Helping manage content within learning platforms, including the Learning Management System (LMS), collaboration tools, and virtual event technology.
  • Coordinating logistics for training sessions, workshops, or virtual learning events.
  • Collecting and organizing learner feedback, survey results, and participation data.
  • Assisting with reporting and summarizing insights for dashboards or program updates.
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects focused on learner experience, engagement, or process improvement.

Successful candidates will possess a blend of organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a passion for learning and development:

  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Interest in learning experience design and how people learn, especially modern and digital-first learners.
  • Basic proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Comfort navigating technology platforms (LMS, collaboration tools, virtual meeting software).
  • Ability to analyze feedback or data and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and willingness to bring fresh ideas.
  • Growth mindset with openness to feedback and learning.

Intern Program Requirements

  • Ability to provide unofficial transcript.
  • Actively enrolled in a University, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Communications, or a related field by Spring 2027.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, reliable transportation, be authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship in the US, and will pass criminal and driving background checks with a pre-employment drug test.
  • Experience with platforms like Excel, Power BI, Canva, etc. a plus.
  • Demonstrated involvement in team-based projects, student organizations, or leadership roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
