This is a summer sales internship at Kaizen Marketing, located in person. Kaizen Marketing focuses on business development and sales cycle solutions, helping businesses drive growth through lead generation, service demonstrations, and strategic account management. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outside sales and territory management, preparing interns for a successful career in business development.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Engagement: Engage in outside sales by identifying potential clients and building strong relationships through cold calling and direct outreach.
• Territory Management: Assist in managing territory sales by analyzing market trends and developing strategies to expand the customer base.
• Product Demonstration: Conduct service demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, upselling solutions that meet client needs.
• Lead Generation: Support lead generation efforts using CRM software to track prospects and follow-up activities.
• Business Development: Collaborate with management on initiatives to identify new opportunities and improve sales processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or related program with a strong interest in sales, marketing, or management.
• Experience: Demonstrated enthusiasm for outside sales, B2B transactions, and understanding sales cycles.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients; familiarity with CRM software; strong analysis skills to interpret conversations and understand client paths.
• Bonus: Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management.
