What You’ll Actually Do
• Outside Sales: Engage in direct outreach and cold calling to identify potential clients and build strong business relationships.
• Territory Management: Assist in analyzing market trends and developing strategies to expand the customer base within designated sales territories.
• Service Demonstrations: Conduct presentations to showcase service features and benefits, identifying opportunities to upsell solutions that meet client needs.
• Lead Generation: Support efforts to generate new leads, utilizing CRM software to track prospects and manage follow-up activities effectively.
• Business Development: Collaborate with management on initiatives aimed at identifying new opportunities and improving existing sales processes.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Team Participation: Participate in a competitive, sports-like atmosphere, competing against yourself and teammates to achieve sales goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or related program, demonstrating a strong interest in sales, marketing, or management. Candidates should be energetic and eager to learn, with a passion for sales and marketing.
• Experience: Demonstrated understanding of sales cycles, B2B transactions, and familiarity with CRM software for tracking prospects and follow-up activities. The role requires enthusiasm for outside sales.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients. Strong analysis skills are essential to interpret conversations and understand optimal client engagement paths. The role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bonus: Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management is a plus.
