Junior Video Producer & Editor | Treasure Data
The Tone:
This is an early career role at Treasure Data, located in Mountain View, CA (Hybrid). Treasure Data is an intelligent customer data platform (CDP) built for enterprise scale, using data and AI to simplify how companies create connected customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and improve operational efficiency. This role is crucial as the primary driver of the company’s video content, helping tell clear, compelling stories about products and customers, and ensuring the brand and customers are presented professionally across all video materials.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Field Production: Lead the setup and execution of video shoots, including camera operation, 3-point lighting, and high-quality audio capture for interviews and customer case studies.
• Narrative Editing: Transform raw footage into engaging video stories, ranging from short social clips to longer brand features.
• Product Demos: Partner with product teams to film and edit high-quality platform walk-throughs and new feature announcements.
• Technical Post-Production: Own the complete finish of every video, managing color correction, audio leveling, mixing, and incorporating polished intro/outro sequences.
• Motion Graphics: Create and implement motion titles, lower-thirds, and basic animated call-outs to highlight key data points within video content.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-career filmmaker.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience with a professional portfolio demonstrating the ability to shoot and edit professional-grade video.
• Skills: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, foundational knowledge of After Effects for video titles and transitions, demonstrated ability to independently set up lighting and audio for “talking head” interviews, and a strong sense of pacing, continuity, and visual composition.
• Bonus: Experience with Photoshop or Illustrator for creating video thumbnails or basic marketing assets, a basic understanding of Figma or web design principles, ability to sketch out visual concepts during planning, and curiosity about how data and AI are transforming the enterprise landscape.
