Junior System Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated Junior System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining a Windows-based network, demonstrating a strong eagerness to grow their career within the company and proactively take on additional responsibilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with foundational IT knowledge to expand their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implements, manages, upgrades, and administers MS Windows Network, including core services such as MS Exchange, Clustering, Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory policies and permissions.
• Creates and maintains essential documentation, including procedure manuals, topology diagrams, and control documents.
• Ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of network peripherals, including printers and scanners.
• Maintains and updates server infrastructure, specifically Windows 2022 Server and above.
• Maintains and updates end-user computing devices, including workstations and laptops running Windows 10/11.
• Provides crucial support and diagnostics to corporate users, ensuring minimal downtime and effective problem resolution.
• Manages and administers enterprise-level security solutions, including anti-virus and backup suites.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Active Directory maintenance, including user and group management, and understanding of GPOs.
• Possesses advanced diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and resolve technical issues.
• Demonstrates strong, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Has working knowledge of fundamental network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with network management tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
