Junior SharePoint & Power Apps Developer | Matrix Design Group, Inc.

This is a part-time role at Matrix Design Group, Inc., located in Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Denver, or San Antonio, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s digital environment, contributing to custom application development, and supporting the underlying data infrastructure for internal tools.

• Mission: Assist in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s SharePoint environment, contributing to the development of Power Apps solutions and automation, and supporting the underlying data infrastructure.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Support the design, development, and maintenance of Power Apps canvas applications.
• Automate: Build and manage Power Automate workflows that integrate with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Administer: Assist with the administration of SharePoint Online, including site creation, libraries, lists, pages, and permissions.
• Troubleshoot: Resolve issues with existing Power Apps and SharePoint solutions reported by end users.
• Collaborate: Gather requirements from project teams and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build real-world experience with Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform. Foundational knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online and relational database concepts.
• Experience: Basic experience building or customizing Power Apps (canvas apps) and using SharePoint lists as data sources.
• Skills: Ability to write and interpret basic formulas using Power Fx, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Experience with Power BI, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Visual Studio Code.
