Role: Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR)

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join Pivot as a full-time, remote Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this pivotal role, you will be on the front lines of business development, contributing directly to our growth by identifying and engaging with potential mentees who are ready to transform their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify new leads and potential clients who could benefit from Pivot’s mentorship program.
  • Targeted Outreach: Engage in strategic and personalized outreach efforts across various channels (email, LinkedIn, phone) to connect with qualified prospects.
  • Lead Qualification: Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess prospect needs, interest, and fit for the program.
  • Relationship Nurturing: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the initial stages of their interest in Pivot.
  • Business Opportunity Development: Skillfully nurture relationships to develop viable business opportunities and schedule discovery calls for the sales team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with the broader sales and marketing teams to align strategies and achieve ambitious growth objectives.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all interactions and activities within our CRM platform, ensuring data integrity.
  • Performance & Quota Attainment: Consistently meet and exceed established quotas and performance benchmarks, demonstrating a commitment to results.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong Inside Sales & Lead Generation Acumen: Proven ability to effectively identify, engage, and qualify prospects, understanding the nuances of the sales funnel.
  • Exceptional Communication & Relationship-Building Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication. Active listening and the ability to build rapport quickly are crucial.
  • Foundational Sales & Business Development Understanding: Basic knowledge or experience in sales principles and business development strategies to support customer acquisition and pipeline growth.
  • Goal-Oriented & Self-Motivated: A strong drive to achieve and surpass targets, coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
  • CRM Familiarity (Plus): Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data management practices is a significant advantage.
  • Genuine Interest in SaaS & Tech Sales: A passionate interest in the SaaS industry and technology sales, with a clear desire for continuous professional development and growth in this field.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a sales or business-related field is preferred, but not strictly required. We value practical experience and demonstrated aptitude.
