This role is crucial for working with Associate and Senior testers to create thorough and comprehensive test scripts, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met for every user story. The Junior QA Tester provides detailed testing results and collaborates with the development team to explain findings.

The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Script Creation: Assist Associate QAs in creating test scripts to accurately evaluate all functional criteria.
• Documentation: Document detailed testing results for all stories and features, including pass/fail records, with Associate and Senior QAs.
• UAT Responsibility: Assist in and eventually take ownership of authoring UAT scripts, and participate in UAT preparation and troubleshooting.
• Communication: Work closely with the development team and clients to understand functionality, communicate testing results, and at times demo functionality to users.
• Agile Collaboration: Work within an agile framework, collaborating with various team members to ensure solutions meet client needs with the highest quality.

The Must-Haves
• Background: US Citizenship is required, with an active Public Trust Clearance (any agency) and the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance. Work must be performed within the United States for a federal contract.
• Experience: 2+ years in quality assurance testing, including 1+ year reviewing and analyzing data related to system quality, 1+ year authoring test scripts, 1+ year testing product backlog items with pass/fail documentation, and 1+ year in an agile environment.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proactive and highly communicative, good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to project deliverables, and time management.
• Bonus: Active DHS or DoW Public Trust clearance, strong experience in an agile environment, skilled at analyzing existing system documentation, experience working across multiple projects, and experience with ServiceNow CSM, ITSM, and App Engine.
