The Tone:
This is a full-time role for an Assistant Project Manager/Junior Project Coordinator in the Greater Boston/Southern New Hampshire area. Trueline’s client is a growing commercial construction contractor specializing in exterior building systems across New England. This position is crucial for providing essential support to project managers, enabling smooth project execution and offering a direct path for early-career professionals to advance into full Project Management responsibilities. What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Coordination: Support Project Managers by coordinating the daily activities of commercial construction projects.
• Documentation Review: Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other vital project documentation.
• Procurement Support: Assist with material procurement, purchasing, and diligent tracking of supplies.
• Schedule Monitoring: Monitor project schedules, track deliveries, and ensure key milestones are met.
• Record Management: Prepare and accurately track submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, and other essential project records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-career construction professional with an aptitude for understanding and interpreting construction drawings, coupled with basic construction math skills and analytical thinking.
• Experience: None explicitly required for years of experience; must demonstrate a self-motivated, dependable, and accountable work style.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field; internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in construction or project coordination; exposure to commercial construction projects; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software; background in exterior envelope, siding, roofing, waterproofing, glazing, or related construction trades; or military experience demonstrating leadership and organization.
