Junior Program Control Analyst | MANTECH

The Tone:
This is a 100% remote position at MANTECH. MANTECH is actively seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented individual to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining precise financial oversight and ensuring the operational efficiency of programs, particularly within the sensitive USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility. The Junior Program Control Analyst I provides essential support by managing financial data, preparing critical reports, and assisting senior staff, directly contributing to mission readiness and strategic financial planning for the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist extensively in drafting comprehensive budget reports and meticulously prepare materials required for critical cost-benefit evaluation studies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
• Database Management: Follow all established standard operating procedures to diligently update and maintain various financial management databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for all relevant stakeholders.
• Senior Management Support: Prepare routine status reports for senior management review, providing clear and concise updates on financial progress, and facilitate all necessary administrative coordination for the dedicated budget team.
• Data Collection and Expenditure Tracking: Provide foundational knowledge of program control protocols while actively supporting the methodical collection of data essential for financial after-action reports and accurately tracking budget expenditures against planned allocations.
• Information Dissemination and Readiness: Support the conversion of complex financial data into desired, user-friendly formats for efficient dissemination among stakeholders within the USINDOPACOM AOR, and assist in the preparation of vital mission-readiness documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career professional possessing a Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) degree in a relevant discipline or a closely related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience directly relevant to the position’s requirements. This bachelor’s degree requirement can be substituted by 4 years of additional relevant experience if a degree is not held.
• Skills: Demonstrated foundational knowledge of program control protocols and the capability to be a US Citizen who can obtain and maintain a Confidential level security clearance prior to the start of employment.
• Bonus: Desired qualifications include foundational knowledge of military budgeting processes, a proven ability to assist effectively in the preparation of financial coordination documents, and practical familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
