What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn and perform fundamental grooming services, including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under close supervision.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal within the grooming salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents, providing optimal customer service and addressing grooming-related inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area by disinfecting tools and performing daily and weekly cleaning duties according to company policies.
• Schedule grooming appointments, manage required paperwork, and maintain accurate grooming records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career level, requiring a genuine passion for animals and a desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.
• Experience: 0-1 year of animal-related experience, which may include shelter volunteering or pet sitting.
• Skills: Capable of handling pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and empathy; effective verbal and written communication for interactions; basic understanding of dog breeds, behavior, and common grooming practices.
• Bonus: Prior grooming salon assistance is preferred, and a high-school diploma or GED is also preferred.
