• Mission: Expand Quality Counts’ client network and execute transportation data collection projects to improve local roadways and communities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Management: Gain practical experience in business management and entrepreneurship as Quality Counts invests in your career growth.
• Client Growth: Assist the Associate VP of Operations in expanding the client network across the greater Houston area by managing existing client relationships and winning new projects.
• Field Operations: Execute data collection projects of all sizes, which includes hands-on tasks like installing equipment such as video detection cameras and pneumatic tubes, or helping with surveys and data collection in the field.
• Community Impact: Make a direct impact by seeing the results of your hard work in real-time as you help engineers and planners in the public and private sectors improve local roadways and communities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business management) or possesses 3-5 years of relevant management or business experience.
• Experience: Eager to learn how to run a small business operation and grow your business management career. A fast learner who values feedback and collaboration.
• Skills: A hands-on problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working both indoors and out (rain or shine). Strong with details, capable of using power tools, technically capable, and confident in the field. Willing to travel nationally and attend local conferences as needed. Holds a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
