Junior Field Applications Engineer (FA-E) at NVIDIA
NVIDIA is looking for a passionate, hardworking, and creative Junior Field Applications Engineer (FA-E) to join their team. This specialist role requires expertise in system design, networking, and leadership, catering to customers who view artificial intelligence as a transformative computing revolution.
Role Overview
As a Junior FAE, you will specialize in datacenter system and network design for AI computing. Your primary responsibility will involve onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. You will collaborate across various internal functions while ensuring an excellent experience for external customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
- Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
- Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers and working closely with the team to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
- Actively establish and maintain technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and key product requirements within the enterprise AI market.
- Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
- Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.
What We Need To See (Required Qualifications)
- Education: BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other datacenter hardware.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.
- Problem Solving: Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organization: Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
- Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
- Programming skills: C/C++ and Python.
- Embedded Systems: Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
- Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.
Salary & Benefits
The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions:
- Level 1: 92,000 USD – 149,500 USD
- Level 2: 108,000 USD – 178,250 USD
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
