What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Assist with day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including conducting case reviews for incident response and security incident tickets.
• Compliance: Perform security analysis during documentation reviews to validate that company policies, procedures, and requirements are met.
• Systems Security: Work as part of an IT project team to configure, harden, deploy, and maintain secure information systems.
• Problem Solving: Assist in developing solutions to problems of unusual complexity, requiring ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
• Assessments: Support the conduct of risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled and working on a 4-year degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a related field with experience working with technology-related systems.
• Skills: U.S. Citizenship required; has effective problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; demonstrates competency in researching and applying Digital Business Technology (DBT) compliance regulations.
• Bonus: 3.0 GPA or higher preferred; current or pursuing cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, ISC2, SANs) preferred.
