The Tone:
This is an internship at Liberty Mutual Insurance, located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Liberty Mutual is a global Fortune 100 company dedicated to finance, helping industry-leading talent realize their dreams straight out of college. This internship is within their Cybersecurity & Technology Audit department, which is responsible for auditing all internal control systems. What You’ll Actually Do
• Interviewing: Interview personnel to gather necessary information for audit projects.
• Testwork: Perform testwork to evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Analysis: Analyze the results obtained from testwork to identify any potential issues.
• Communication: Communicate identified issues clearly and effectively with managers.
• Participation: Participate in audit project teams to complete risk assessments and control evaluations for IT areas under review.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or equivalent training.
• Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience, with experience in technical programs including a working knowledge of Excel.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, strong leadership skills.
• Bonus: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and the ability to commit to a full-time, 11-week internship.
