What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Verification: Assist Senior Authentication Specialists in the comprehensive verification process for both inbound footwear and apparel, ensuring adherence to established standards.
• Manage Inventory: Receive and precisely arrange inbound inventory, categorizing products according to specific brand, model, and other relevant details for efficient processing.
• Document Data: Accurately keep detailed notes and enter essential data into the GOAT Group database, including critical release information, product SKUs, and production dates.
• Expand Expertise: Continuously research and actively learn about new models and brands of sneakers, apparel, and collaborations to broaden your product knowledge and authentication capabilities.
• Maintain Standards: Manage and stay fully up-to-date with the evolving authentication process through participation in formal training sessions and personal self-directed learning initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career individual with a profound understanding of sneakers, apparel, and the consignment industry, seeking a full-time role within a startup environment.
• Experience: Proven ability to thoroughly verify the authenticity of a wide range of sneakers and apparel from major brands like Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, FOG Essentials, Supreme, BAPE, and Denim Tears. This includes spotting manufacturer defects, accurately assessing wear, and inspecting SKU and size details.
• Skills: Comprehensive product knowledge across all major brands, encompassing original releases and re-releases, coupled with keen trend awareness to recognize and stay current with industry trends, releases, and collaborations ranging from streetwear to high fashion.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with a genuine passion for sneakers and streetwear, and the capability to work autonomously as a quick learner and self-starter, adapting to increasing responsibilities.
